Mad River Chapter #477 Annual Meeting

April 20, 2024 – 9:00-11:30 a.m. (time approximate)

To All Chapter Members and Guests – Please join us for our Annual Meeting. Catch up on what has happened over the past Fiscal Year 2023 and what lies ahead for 2024.

We will be introducing our new Officers and Board members and reviewing our Accomplishments and Treasurer’s Reports. Brief presentations will be made regarding TU’s Priority Waters program, as well as our ongoing Trout in the Classroom, Stream Water Quality Monitoring, and Pimtown Road Restoration efforts. Hear what’s been happening with the Ohio Chapters of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing and The Mayfly Project. There will also be news regarding proposed improvements to habitat at West Liberty Park and improved river access at other points near the lower end of the coldwater section of the Mad River. Of course, there will be ample opportunity to make comments and ask questions.

Here’s your chance to rub elbows with your fellow members, make some new friends, and renew acquaintances within the trout fishing community in Central, Southeast, and Southwest Ohio. As usual, there will be a raffle at the end of the meeting. Coffee and donuts will be provided.

For those of you who are interested, the first stream water quality monitoring session of the year will take place after the meeting. Participants should gather at the State Route 36 bridge access area just west of Urbana at 1:00 p.m.
