TU Madmen Chapter 2020 Annual Meeting Announcement

The Madmen Chapter #477 of Trout Unlimited will hold its 2020 Annual Meeting in conjunction with the Mad River Gala at the Simon Kenton Inn, Saturday, March 21 beginning at 6:00 p.m. On line tickets sales for $40 each end on March 17. At the door tickets will be $45 each.

As indicated in the invitation to the Gala sent previously, we intend to keep the “meeting” portion of the event as brief as possible so that the majority of the evening can be spent enjoying the company of the other members and guests, the meal, the presentation by George Daniel, and the other festivities. In order to accomplish this and to fulfill the obligations set forth in the Chapter By-Laws, we’ve included the following links to several documents. Please review these prior to the meeting.

Please note that the final Treasurer’s Report and Accomplishments Report will be completed after the close of the Fiscal Year on March 31, 2020.

If you have any questions or comments regarding any of the documents, please contact me at rhurni@columbus.rr.com or speak with me or any of the other Officers or members of the Board during the Happy Hour at the Gala. There will be a cursory review of these items after the dinner and before George Daniel’s presentation. Any questions or comments received will be placed under consideration for inclusion.

The Chapter members present will be asked for a voice vote on whether or not to approve the Officers and Board of Directors as well as the revised By-Laws. The final Treasurer’s Report and Accomplishments Report will be filed with TU National by no later than May 15, 2020. At that time, we will post them on the TU Madmen website.

Please plan to attend the Mad River Gala. It will be a casual affair and an enjoyable evening with the other Chapter members, their guests and others interested in the Mad River Watershed. If you haven’t purchased your tickets, please do so as soon as possible. Online tickets sales for $40 each end on March 17.  Although there will be limited tickets available at the door, we urge everyone to pre-purchase tickets so we can make sure we have enough food.

Thank you so much and see you there!
Rick Hurni, President
