Volunteers Needed to fill Board Positions!

Your TU Madmen Board of Directors is searching for volunteers to fill key positions on the Board. We currently have vacancies for the offices of Vice-President and Secretary as well as for the positions of Public Relations Coordinator and Youth Coordinator.

The offices of Vice-President and Secretary are required by TU and are well-defined. The two coordinator positions currently are not. We have a general idea of what those positions might entail, but we want to further define them with the input of the volunteers willing to take them on.

The Board has somewhat regular meetings — three to five a year or so. They are not at all formal affairs. Of course there are also various tasks and responsibilities to be undertaken by all of the members of the Board. It’s an important thing that we do…the care of our river…and it needs to happen with completely volunteer efforts. Please consider joining us.

If you are interested in possibly taking on one of these positions, please feel free to contact me or any of the Madmen Board members. OR…attend our next Board meeting to see what it’s all about. We will be meeting at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 5th at the Mad River Farm Market Grille and Pub. The main topic of discussion will be the continuing planning for the chapter’s Annual Meeting and Banquet, scheduled for March 21st at the Simon Kenton Inn.

Tight Lines Everybody!
