We’ve Extended The Early Bird Deadline!!

We’re looking forward to our first-ever Mad River Gala on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the historic Simon Kenton Inn in Springfield, OH. We hope you will join us!! All Chapter members, their guests and others interested in supporting the Mad River are invited to attend. Don’t be fooled by the name; this is a casual event.

The “meeting” portion of Gala will be brief with the main emphasis being on fun, food, entertainment and camaraderie. “Social Hour” begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar, looping fly fishing videos, tables with representatives from organizations in the fly fishing community, and guest fly-tier Kevin Ramsey. A buffet-style dinner from 7:00 until 8-ish followed by a 15-minute (or so) business meeting. Our presentations by Sarah Hippensteel Hall and Kiki Galvin will follow. The evening will conclude with our biggest raffle yet, including a Thomas & Thomas fly rod and reel (TBD) as the Grand Prize.

NOTE: Includes a buffet dinner of Lemon and Herb Chicken, Beef Brisket, Garden Salad, Mediterranean Vegetables, Roasted Red Potatoes, assorted desserts and soft beverages. Cash bar.

Space is limited to 200 attendees!
